The Role

Forkast.News is hiring a Content Writer to join the Forkast.Studio content team. This role will work closely with Forkast.Studio brand partners, as well as the editorial team, to support and produce content to better serve our brand collaborations. These partnerships span sponsored content (print / video), marketing initiatives, and events, and you'll work directly with brands in the digital assets / blockchain / DLT world, as well as corporate companies inclusive of Fortune 500s.

Our content is read by top institutional / retail investors, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives. Your written work will be shared across multimedia channels of print, video, and podcast.

Forkast.News speaks to an audience of professionals and corporate decision-makers who are interested in developing a point of view on blockchain technology, digital assets, and web 3.0.

We are looking for the right person to join the team, on a freelance or full-time basis. This is a remote position. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Job Duties

• Work with brand partners directly to understand their business / product and needs to communicate to the audience
• Quickly ramp up to different technology concepts and create engaging, simple to understand yet value-driven content
• Flex across marketing and editorial thinking, delivering branded content in a journalistic style
• Write content that may be produced against a wide range of multimedia (print, audio, video, social media) based on project objectives

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a writer or marketer with a digital media platform
• Thrives in a fast-paced, decentralized startup environment – hungry and willing to roll up your sleeves
• Undergraduate or Masters experience in Marketing or Journalism is preferred
• Ability to write muscular prose about emerging technology and complex issues in a way that is clear-eyed and free of jargon but also in a sophisticated manner for Forkast's professional readership
• As this would be a remote position, our ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently
• Strong interest in digital assets, blockchain, and crypto; familiarity with concepts in digital assets / crypto is a plus
